Leadership Essentials for High School Students

Our “Beyond the ABCs – Building Blocks for the Future”  sessions focuses on providing college-bound or career-centered youth those fundamental life-skills, tools, and behaviors that will enable them to be more productive, effective, and better able to compete in the real world.  We recognize that not all students possess these skill sets; however, our highly interactive training components allow students to assess themselves and their abilities and to build upon those skills.  Whether it is a  summer job, interview for college, or creating the life they have dreamed,  learning the building blocks to success is critical for any teen. the Leadership Institute of Kansas City understands the overly texted, homeworked, video gamed out, active  and yes, even the couch potato teen, and will help them develop the skills that are demanded in this increasingly fast paced world.

Our sessions are designed to augment, not replace, what students learn in the classroom.
